In designing a catalogue of a set of personal items, I wanted to focus on something meaningful to me that is also important to others, the game of football (soccer). Its design stems from its title, “Every Shirt Has a Story”.

 

Each shirt is depicted above a close-up photo of its fabric. A brief description is followed by a personal anecdote regarding that shirt. The opposite page shows that shirt being worn by the relevant team or a notable event from that time period. Televison pundit descriptions of memorable events are included where warranted. All shirt photography for this project was self-shot.
